Accessing the browser is not acceptable activity (even if for a short time to complete a task). We’ve taken the route of user-controlled filters/blockers (with accountability) to allow more device & program flexibility, rather than a single locked-down solution. We ask that this privilege is not abused.

Sometimes a flag is created from a notification, even if the browser app is blocked. A notification is a message about an app that shows up at the top of your screen, and sometimes on the front screen when your phone is locked. Do you have notifications turned on for browser apps?

Do you use your phone as a Wi-Fi hotspot?

We ask this question because it has been suspected that some devices check the internet connection in the background when the hotspot is toggled on, and may be creating flags at that time. Using your phone as a Wi-Fi hotspot is acceptable. However, it is important to understand that each device that connects must be setup with per Weatec guidelines (the phone providing the connection does not extend any filtering or accountability to the connected devices).
